Meet the owners and lactation consultants
Meet the Team
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant & Registered Nurse
Natasha Mizner RN, BSN, IBCLC
Hi! I’m Natasha Mizner, RN, BSN, IBCLC and the Founder and Co-Owner of Good Life Lactation!
I started my career working at the bedside as a mother/baby RN for 10 years. Helping thousands of breastfeeding dyads in those first few days after birth made me realize the importance of education and support for families in the postpartum period. Since 2021, I have experience in both the hospital setting and private practice as a lactation consultant. I opened Good Life Lactation in 2022 with the goal of providing non-judgmental, evidence based, quality support to families. In 2024, I brought Emily on as a co-owner to be able to reach more families.
My husband and I have three young daughters. Our youngest gave us a challenge as an infant. We worked through silent reflux, oral dysfunction, bottle difficulties, weight gain concerns and had her tethered oral tissues released. It was a difficult first 6 months, but we made it through and she is thriving.
As part of my commitment to providing the best possible support, I am passionate about continuing my education and staying up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in lactation consulting. I have advanced training in oral habilitation and tethered oral tissues (tongue/lip ties).
When I hear stories about families who have gone through breastfeeding difficulties with little to no support- the potentially avoidable stress, pain and guilt that they experienced breaks my heart. Families deserve better! While I can't promise to solve all issues or guarantee a flawless feeding journey, I can offer my support and expertise to guide you. I consider it an honor to help families navigate feeding their little ones.

Emily Anderson RN, BSN, IBCLC
Hi! I’m Emily Anderson, RN, BSN, IBCLC and Co-Owner of Good Life Lactation
My passion for supporting families in reaching their feeding goals first started with my own complicated experience. As an NICU nurse, I had seen firsthand the many nourishing benefits of human milk, so I was determined to overcome the challenges to establish a successful lactation journey.
I faced repeated breast infections due to my daughter’s tongue tie and feeding strategy mismanagement. I found it very difficult to navigate the healthcare system and attempt to find providers that were supportive of my desire to continue to breastfeed my child after surgical treatment for a severe infection.
After finding support from an IBCLC, I was able to continue nursing my daughter. I’ve since then successfully navigated breastfeeding my two younger children and have invested in building a skillset to support other families in their breastfeeding goals.
During my time as a NICU RN I became a Certified Breastfeeding Educator out of my desire to be more helpful to the families in the NICU, and then proceeded to become an IBCLC. I have worked as a lactation consultant since 2022 and have experience in both the hospital setting and private practice. With a total of 10 years NICU RN experience and 7 years of personal breastfeeding experience, I have the training and experience to come alongside families to guide them through their breastfeeding journey. I recognize every family has specific desires and goals aligning with their lifestyle and values. My objective as a lactation consultant is to guide and empower families to establish an effective and fulfilling lactation dynamic, however that may look for each individual. I am committed to ongoing training in order to continue to provide up to date care. I sincerely love supporting families in their feeding journey, aiming to relieve the pressure often felt by offering guidance, education and the support needed to navigate infant feeding.
I am so happy you are here!

Audrey Harris RN, IBCLC
Hi, I’m Audrey Harris, RN, IBCLC.
I began my nursing journey as a bedside nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where I spent 15 fulfilling years caring for our tiniest and most vulnerable patients. During that time, I occasionally supported mothers with breastfeeding—but it wasn’t until my own daughter faced challenges with low milk supply and postpartum anxiety after the birth of my first grandchild that my passion for lactation support truly deepened.
Motivated by that personal experience, I pursued further education in lactation, first becoming a Clinical Breastfeeding Educator and later earning my certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2020. Since then, I’ve transitioned into the lactation department, where I continue to provide support both in the NICU and to new mothers immediately postpartum.
My approach is centered on listening with empathy, offering compassionate care, and collaborating with families to create realistic, individualized feeding plans that honor their goals. With a strong foundation in neonatal nursing, I bring a unique perspective to lactation care—one that blends clinical expertise with heartfelt understanding.
I’m deeply passionate about helping families feel confident, supported, and empowered in their feeding journeys. Whether you’re breastfeeding, pumping, supplementing, or navigating special circumstances, I’m here to guide you every step of the way with evidence-based, personalized care.
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant & Registered Nurse
Ashley Stimac RN, BSN, IBCLC
My name is Ashley Stimac and I have been a dedicated Registered Nurse since 2006, devoting my entire career to the fields of Labor and Delivery, Mother-Baby care, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). With nearly two decades of hands-on experience, I take a compassionate approach, apply my clinical expertise, and steadfast commitment to helping new mothers and their babies thrive during one of the most transformative times in their lives. After spending a lot of time with new mothers during the early days in the hospital, I decided to become an IBCLC in 2015. Since that time, I have worked as an instructor in local breastfeeding support groups, hospital postpartum care, in-home patient direct care after hospital discharge and post NICU admission, with an overall focus on feeding difficulties for the newborn, along with teaching prenatal classes.
From the very beginning of my nursing journey, I have been deeply passionate about providing exceptional, evidence-based care for mothers and newborns. I have continually sought to support families not just physically, but emotionally—understanding that the postpartum period is as much about mental wellness as it is about physical recovery.
In recent years, my professional focus has expanded to emphasize maternal mental health and lactation support, areas I believe are foundational to long-term family well-being. This focus grew more personal after the birth of my third son.
My husband, Tyler and I, are proud parents to three energetic boys. After a smooth breastfeeding experience with my first two sons, I faced unexpected challenges with my youngest. He was born with laryngomalacia, low muscle tone, and a tongue tie, all of which made breastfeeding difficult. Through perseverance, education, and professional collaboration, I navigated a unique and rewarding breastfeeding journey with him—one filled with patience, adaptation, and deep emotional growth.
Later, my youngest son was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy, adding another layer of complexity to my family’s life. Despite the hurdles, my family found strength and joy in redefining our goals and celebrating each milestone achieved. These personal experiences have only deepened my empathy and strengthened me to empower other mothers facing similar struggles.
Today, I continue my mission to improve maternal and newborn outcomes through education, advocacy, and compassion—helping mothers feel confident, supported, and capable throughout their postpartum journey. My story is a testament to resilience, love, and the transformative power of care that comes from both the heart and the mind. I would love to help aide in your goals -no matter what feeding method you take-breast, bottle, combination, together, we can create a goal that you want to achieve.
